GTAW – TIG Pipe Welding Course

This course instructs students in the welding safety and proper techniques for TIG Pipe welding process. The course will prepare the welder to pass a 6G pipe test to Military, ASME and AWS standards. The course will teach the proper filler metal selection, proper shielding gas, weld troubleshooting and equipment setup, techniques for making welds in all positions, explanation of weld symbols, and joint design. One hundred and ten (110) hours of booth welding and ten (ten) hours of lecture and practice make up this course.
